Parking in and around Graz

In the centre of Graz, parking is generally fee-based. The city’s short-term parking zones are marked by signs at all entrances and exits.
In the Blue Zone, parking is limited to a maximum of three hours. Parking charges apply on weekdays from 9 am to 8 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. At Graz Hauptbahnhof (central railway station) charges apply every day between 8 am and 10 pm.
In the Green Zone, parking is subject to charges as well. However, in this zone you can park for several days in row with a valid ticket.

With its romantic lanes, Mediterranean climate, artist’s quarter, many parks and gardens and, of course, Schlossberg hill, Graz is a popular tourist destination. This can make it difficult to find inner-city parking.
If you would rather spend your time exploring the city than hunting for a parking space, you can leave your car at one of the city’s many park-and-ride sites. It’s easy to get to the city centre by public transport from all of them.

Hop on at your local pick-up point and hop off at one of the city’s coach parking spaces: There are several designated coach parking spaces all around Graz.
